Compliance with legislation regarding downloading data from the tachograph driver’s card is sometimes pricey and can be a difficult process. Vehicles travelling outside the Romanian borders have now the option of remote tachograph data downloading, using a web platform directly from their own computer, reducing this way fleet maintenance costs.
In order to perform downloading, the driver’s card needs to be inserted in the tachograph and the fleet manager has to be connected to the internet on the tachograph application and the card reader simultaneously, up to the moment when an e-mail notification is received.
