How does it work?
On Hungarian territory, the payment of the road tax is made through the HU-GO platform (National Toll Payment Services Plc). On Bulgarian territory, it is made through the Toll BG platform. Data related to the traveled road segments is recorded in real time through the TrackGPS monitoring systems and transmitted to the platform.
The ticketing system calculates the cost, and the toll payment is made automatically, from the user’s account, which is preloaded with credit.
If the GPS equipment has any operation issues, the e-Toll LED accessory warns the driver about the connection and GPS status. The driver can thus avoid collecting fines due to problems that may occur with the system, vehicle, or connection.
